The main objective of KIIT and KISS has revolved around creating self-employment opportunities in and around the periphery. The presence of these institutions have changed have brought Odisha into limelight as a hub of progressive education. Self employment opportunities and community service in rural areas and small towns through life skill training to the rural population by KISS has created a revolution. Programmes such as the “vocational training” practised at KISS at a very large scale with utmost efficiency suffices the need of the hour.

This objective significantly relies on the enhancement of literacy of rural population both religiously and practically empowering them to develop and help others to do the same by becoming change leaders.
