It stands strong to preach it’s pure act of selfless living for other through this spiritual centre and shrines as Shri Jagannath the lord of the universe, the supreme solace and a savior for countless devotees, has a splendid presence in a temple amidst the institutions, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, which are the manifestation of a divine presence.

The spectacular Jagannath temple complex is erected over a sprawling one-acre land which is donated by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) & Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS). The temple was inaugurated in the year of 2007 by the Gajapati Maharaja of Puri Sri Divyasingha Deb. The sanctum sanctorum houses Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra (Balarama), Lord Subhadra and Lord Sudarshana in the quartet (Chaturdha Murti).
